‘Ishkq in Paris’, the Hindi film starring Preity Zinta, Rhehan Malliek and French actress Isabelle Adjani, directed by Prem Raj and produced by Preity Zinta has been released on 24 May 2013. Here is what the critics thought about it.

Rediff calls it as stupid as its spelling: “Tragically, she (Preity) seems almost determined not to act. She straddles the line between French and Hindi clumsily, speaking in a bit of a supervillain accent. Her eyes sparkle with the eagerness of a jumpy squirrel, even when they shouldn’t.”

Nowrunning terms it a melodramatic saga: “To sum it up Ishkq In Paris takes off as a frothy affair but ends up being a melodramatic saga which can bore you easily.”

The Times of India is only slightly impressed: “Finally the script runs out of steam and Ishkq, thank God for that, runs straight into Akshay’s arms in true Bollywood style. Preity Zinta’s maiden production has its aesthetics in place. Paris is enchanting. The actress is good but there ends the show.”
