Practices in the month of Ramadan:-

-: Fasting :-

During Ramazan every day before the dawn Muslims from around the world get up to eat Sehri. The time which is utilized to eat before offering the prayer is called as Sehri. One has to finish eating Sehri before the caller announces the Azan. Soon after that everybody heads for the Morning Prayer.
Fasting is broken at Maghrib which falls at Sunset with a meal called as Iftar. Maghrib is the fourth prayer of the day. Usually in iftar Muslims prefer to eat fruits and dates. After prayer, Haleem or daily food is consumed as dinner. In recent years Haleem has become very popular. Many restaurants are serving this dish in every nook and corner in Ramazan. Haleem is made by crushing the raw meat hence; it is enriched with vitamins and proteins.

-: Prayers and Reading Quran :-

In the month of Ramazan Muslims slow down their worldly affairs and will donate much time in reading Holy Quran and performing Prayers. Quran is recited in especial prayers called as Tarawih which are after the fifth prayer.
Ramazan is considered to be a month in which Muslims will do all their best in establishing a link between themselves and GOD through prayers, supplications, good deeds, kindness and Charity.
