Heroine Shriya has played a long innings as a heroine and she has paired up with big stars of both generations. Her career was at peak when she did the film ‘Sivaji’ with Superstar Rajinikanth but one move she did brought her popularity tumbling. Shriya did an item song in a Tamil film starring comedian Vadivelu as the hero.
This got a lot of criticism and many heroes stopped approaching her for leading lady roles. And now it is heard that another sex bomb is repeating the same blunder. She is Meenakshi Dixit. Though she has not done any big films as a heroine, Meenakshi has got a very good demand as a special song girl and glamorous bombshell.
It is heard that she has signed up as the heroine for a new Tamil film opposite Vadivelu who has become more older and is making a comeback of sorts after losing out on many opportunities. Many feel Meenakshi is doing a blunder. While she may have her own reasons to take up this film let us hope this doesn’t damage her future chances.
