Soumya became popular after her performance in the title role of Navya. Soumya Seth just casually gave the audition for the serial and got selected for the lead role. And Soumya's acting career just took off.Soumya Seth is playing the role of a 19 year old very sweet and innocent college girl, named as Navya.Soumya seth belongs to very traditional middle class family. She is not like today's youngsters, and is living a very simple life. Navya always maintains a distance from boys and enjoys with her childhood friends Appy and Ritz. A day after my birthday last October, I met a friend who is a co-ordinator with a production house and he suggested that I audition for this show. I'm very lucky to have landed the role of Navya (in Navya) without having to struggle."
