How has Prasanth Murali’s directorial debut ‘Paisa Paisa’ fared with the critics. Take a look at what they have to say, and see for yourselves!
Nowrunning calls it a hollow film: “Prasanth Murali’s driectroial debut ‘Paisa Paisa’ has a script that tries to blow up a gas balloon to mammoth proportions until it bursts right on one’s face. Essentially trying to prove how money rules the world and its inhabitants, it’s a hollow film that does not impress.”
Rediff thinks its disappointing: “Money makes the world go round but the attempt to make it the central motive of this film as debutant director Prashanth Murali has tried to do in Paisa Paisa, is not in the least convincing.”
Sify warns you to stay away: “Paisa Paisa can barely be classified as a serious attempt and at best, it has the content worthy enough for a ten-minute short film. Watch it if you really don’t care about your ‘paisa’ and time.”
