There seem to be some major changes in the Sankranthi releases. While the makers of Nayak are confident of making it to the earlier announced January 9th, 2013 release, Dil Raju, the producer of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu had decided to abandon the plans of December release and join the Sankranthi race. In all probability, SVSC may release on January 11th.
On the other side, the release of Prabhas’ Mirchi is not yet clear. The producer of the movie, Vamsi is good friend of Dil Raju and our sources tells us that Mirchi may be preponed to December or postponed to post Sankranthi season. Since, it would be difficult to manage theaters amidst the biggies.
