He started his career in Indian television by Ssshhh..Phir Koi Hai 2010. He played small role in Bandini. Currently Ashish Kapoor is doing two shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Dekha Ek Khwaab. In Dekha Ek Khwab he is the main lead opposite Priyal Gor who plays the role of Yuvrani Manyata/Moniya. Ashish as Udayveer got high fame and popularity through Dekha ek khwab.
