Ashish Sharma started his acting career with Dibakar Banerjee's movie Love Sex Aur Dhokha. After the movie he bagged a role in Gunahon Ka Devta and then became the fame Chandragupta Maurya after doing the show Chandragupta Maurya on NDTV Imagine. Handsome dude got another role to play in Indian Television's fist ever cross continental new serial Rab Se Sohna Isshq which aired recently on Zee TV. Ashish Sharma has fresh line-up of films like Nidhish's Youthopia and Arup Dutta's Dillogical and Nikhil Sinha's Alha Udal, Zindagi Tere Naam and This and That. Currently Aashish Sharma is dating Archana Taide fame of Beend Baanoonga Ghodi Chadunga.

Ashish Sharma has completed all his studies from there and did his graduation in Fashion Designing. Ashish was involved in theatre and street plays from his college days. He later on shifted to Mumbai to become an actor and in the process joined Anupam Kher's acting school and participated in lot of theatre shows for almost four and a half years. Later on Anupam Kher himself recommended Ashish Sharma for Dibakar Banerjee's movie Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Actor Ashish Sharma played a role of don on his debut television show, Gunahon Ka Devta on NDTV Imagine. The stern and tough protagonist Bhaiyyaji in Gunahon Ka Devta potrayed the role of the grownup Chandragupta Maurya. After playing the tough role he now stepped towards the soft ,romantic role in Zee Tv's fist ever cross continental show Rab Se Sohna Isshq. Ashish Sharma will play a flamboyant character in Rab Se Sohna Isshq. Ashish will play a girl magnet and will have girls fawning over him. Rab Se Sohna Isshq's story revolves around the innocent girl Sahiba who is deserted by the man she loves on the very day of their wedding. The journey undertaken by Sahiba from the heartland of Punjab to the unknown city of London, just to get her man, Ranveer back will form the crux of the story. Ashish Sharma will be playing the role of Ranveer opposite to Ekta Kaul as Sahibaa.
